چکیده

Abstract The fishing and seafood processing companies dump fishbone without a second thought. In this study, the prepared bio-adsorbents from Labeo rohita fishbones were used to remove anionic acid dye Melioderm HF (High Fastness) Brown G (MHFB) aqueous solution. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analyze morphology chemical composition of powder (FBP) before after MHFB adsorption. batch experiment, factors such as initial concentration (100–250 mg/mL), contact time (5–180 min), pH solution (2.0–8.0), adsorbent dosage (1.0–3.5 g/L) analyzed for their impact on adsorption process. experiments studied evaluate influence different operational variables pH, dosage, time, found optimum at 2, 2 g/L, 120 min, 200 ppm, respectively, maximum removal (98.33%) ambient temperature (298 K). isotherm models demonstrated that molecules adsorbed heterogeneously in multilayer following Freundlich (R2 = 0.9300). data fitted pseudo-second-order kinetics. Thus, L. could be bio-adsorbent tannery effluents minimal cost.
